ClassRoom Management for All Students
As a music educator and music education professor, one of my areas of research is how to enact classroom management that works for students who have undergone childhood trauma. Trauma in childhood affects the young student's brain in profound ways. However, we can design our classroom procedures to help these students interact well with their teachers and classmates.
Solitary Freedom: Music for Solo Horn
As my DMA project at the University of Alabama, I recorded a CD of music for solo horn. I had a great time recording this CD with engineer Dave Bjur at Washington State University. This CD will be published this summer on Washington State University Recordings. Along with the recording, I wrote the following manuscript with important information about these pieces.
